During my time in network marketing, there's one thing I've gotten really clear about: if you want to see why something is a scam, you visit scam.com.
Even if it's not a scam.
Why? Because that site is set up for people to discuss scams, and by their nature, many people simply have an issue with network marketing. They don't understand that every business is set up as a pyramid, because that's what leveraging means. A pyramid, however, doesn't create a "scheme"; price gouging, offering little or no product, juggling money, or pushing all income to just a few people ... those are things that create schemes.
Network marketing as a system is endorsed by many big-name business people and even by President Clinton himself. Yet you do have to be careful when looking into a company, because many do use the network marketing model to create scams and schemes. This is what due diligence is all about.
But TamPogo excites me because there's simply nothing to call a scam. With no sign-up fees, no membership fees, no replicated website or back office fees, and honestly lower prices on the products you buy, I just don't know how anyone will be able to say something negative about TamPogo unless they're making things up.
It would be like saying, "Shopping at Amazon and getting paid for referring other people to Amazon is a scam."
Like I said, you can find someone calling almost anything a scam on scam.com -- even companies whose products I consider rock solid. Because people have their opinions and are glad to voice them online. Yet the interesting thing is that, as of 6 weeks after TamPogo launched, there were NO COMMENTS about TamPogo on scam.com!
I'll be interested to see if this lasts. I think people use scam.com to push their own agendas (in addition to offering honest insight -- I think there ARE some good posts on the site). So maybe someone will complain about something like this: "TamPogo is a scam because I don't like their website well enough," or "TamPogo is a scam because it doesn't have all the products I want to buy." I don't know what they'll come up with.
But the bottom line is that, if you compare TamPogo honestly against anything that's out there, you have to call it at least a fair program; and in my opinion, the best shopping and business opportunity being built today.
