The Math Trick that explains

how to succeed in Network Marketing.

MLM Math Trick

I came up with this very simple math demonstration of why most people fail to reach their goals in network marketing while many could succeed.

THE MLM MATH TRICK
With your typical MLM or network marketing company, costs are fairly prohibitive. So it is NOT easy to sign up new reps if you aren't a super salesman. So the average person only signs up about 2.7 people to their team.

(In the right business, even that could be lucrative, and certainly worthwhile for the average person doing this as a side business. If you sponsored just 3 who signed up 3 who signed up 3 in
TamPogo, and it stopped right there, with each being active -- and if NO ONE had any customers -- you would earn a minimum of $46.80/month, which pays for your monthly product and then some. So the average person would benefit from this, which keeps them active; whereas in most MLMs, the average person would still be losing money with a 3 x 3 x 3 because of monthly costs.)

This is said to be clear that: 1) I believe a business like
TamPogo, which is free to join and sells products below retail prices, is more likely to fit the success scenario below. (Easier to get sign-ups.) 2) When I refer to one active Rep per month, this is someone who WILL be able to take the same action as you each month. We're not counting people who will do less.

So ask yourself if YOU think this is a realistic scenario with the right company.

Month One
You work really hard, telling many people about your business, handing out business cards, handing out flyers, sending out e-mails ... and you only find ONE PERSON who is excited and decides to get active with it.

You probably feel disappointed that you had to work so hard to get one, hard-working rep, but at least you got one. In TamPogo, you would earn a minimum of $1.20 from his/her monthly purchase. (Customers of anyone on the team and/or additional purchases would add to this minimum.)

Month Two
You BOTH work really hard, as above. You BOTH find just ONE PERSON who is excited and decides to get active with it. You start to wonder whether all this work is worth it, as you now have only 3 active reps on your team after two months of work. In TamPogo, you would earn a minimum of $3.60 from their monthly purchases.

Maybe you should have joined one of those "get rich quick" schemes. But no, you remember that you wouldn't feel good about yourself, trying to sell people on something like that. And at least with TamPogo, everyone on your team is feeding at least one starving child for a week every month they're active.

Month Three
You and the THREE people on your team (a total of 4 of you) work really hard with the same results as above. Now you have a total of 8 people on your team including you -- so you're paid on 7 other people. In TamPogo, you would earn a minimum of $8.40 from their monthly purchases.

Three months of hard work and you're only earning $8.40????? (Now you see why you don't want to give up your day job if you have one!)

AT THIS POINT, MOST PEOPLE QUIT IN MLM. Because they got in expecting fast and easy money. They got in picturing CEO pay, but not understanding that they needed to WORK and give it TIME TO BUILD. They came in with unrealistic expectations, which is why you -- as a team leader -- need to make sure they understand the math. If they quit now, then 3 months of foundational work are down the drain. But watch what happens if they know the math and keep working:

Month Four
As above, all 8 of you are working hard, and each only finds one solid rep to join the team -- ONE PERSON who will actively make a purchase each month (minimum $20 to $30 in TamPogo) and will actively look for just ONE PERSON per month. That's ALL they need to achieve if they understand the math.

Now you're paid on 15 people, and in TamPogo, that would mean a minimum monthly income of $18. It still feels ridiculous, doesn't it? You're not even paying for your product yet, but in TamPogo, it would feel close and you'd feel that this was almost a free business for you now.

Month Five
As above, all 16 are working hard, and each finds only ONE SOLID REP to join the team. You're now getting paid on 31 people. In TamPogo, that's a minimum monthly income of $37.20 -- that could pay for your monthly product, unless you had chosen to be a President's Circle member (which gives you the chance to earn from a Bonus Pool) by investing a little more each month.

Month Six
As above, all 32 are working hard, each finds only ONE SOLID REP, and now you're getting paid on 63 other people. In TamPogo, that's a minimum monthly income of $75.60 -- enough to pay for many President's Circle products, or to put a good $50/month into your pocket in addition to your Fast Track purchase.

Let's fast forward now:

Month Seven
Paid on 127 people. Minimum earnings in TamPogo: $152.40.

Month Eight
Paid on 255 people. Minimum earnings in TamPogo: $306.
Enough to make a monthly car payment. By now you personally have 8 active iReps, which maximizes the pay plan. You're getting paid on 8 levels of referrals and get Bonus Pool points for your active iReps. Besides your minimum earnings, you could easily be earning from the President's Circle Bonus Pool, which grows not only from within the company, but also from retail sales being made by the likes of Walgreens, GNC, and even vending machines as TamPogo products are sold in those locations.

Month Nine
Paid on 511 people. Minimum earnings in TamPogo: $613.20.

Month Ten
Paid on 1023 people. Minimum earnings in TamPogo: $1227.60 -- enough for many people to pay their monthly mortgage.

Month Eleven
Paid on 2047 people. Minimum earnings in TamPogo: $2,456.40 -- enough for MOST people to pay their mortgage, perhaps along with property taxes and a car payment.

Month Twelve
Paid on 4095 people. Minimum earnings in TamPogo: $4,914. Nearly a $60,000 annual salary now on auto-pilot. This is residual, as long as everyone remains active, even if the team never grew again. Now think about what happens after 2 years, 3 years, or 4 years.

Do you see how sad it is that most people quit after 2-4 months when they've been doing all the right things? Don't let this happen to you, and don't let it happen to your team!

If you can keep it in mind that there is WORK involved, and that compounding becomes exciting only if you are PATIENT and give it the time to work its magic, then you can succeed with the right network marketing company.
